Gabrieli Roar: Handel's Saul

Gabrieli Roar gives another of its large-scale festival concerts, this time performing Handel's epic biblical oratorio, Saul. For this performance, the professional forces of Gabrieli are as ever augmented by 250 young singers from around the country, conducted by Paul McCreesh.

One of the highlights of the Gabrieli calendar, this is the final concert of the annual Gabrieli Roar Residential course, during which 250 young singers immerse themselves in six days of intensive rehearsal and learning in preparation for this performance. Join them and revel in Handel's glorious chorus writing, ranging from celebration to fury and mourning.
