The Anatomy of Melancholy
Join St Mary, Wycliffe and Music in Country Churches for an evening of music to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of John Dowland, one of Elizabethan England’s best-loved and enduring composers.

Francis Bamford (countertenor) and Byung-ook Kim (lute) will present a programme that includes compositions by Dowland and some of his contemporaries as they explore the repertoire of songs of melancholy, and how song can uplift our spirits.
