Join the Flutes and Frets Duo on an exploration of humanity through music from the past 500 years. Society and culture has changed but the essence and patterns of life remain the same, influencing music, literature and all human endeavour. Representing a life cycle, the programme is divided into 4 parts with music inspired by birth; family; love and death by composers including Orlando Gibbons, William Byrd, Bela Bartok and Maurice Ravel.
