Wayneflete Singers, George Castle

We are joined by Wayneflete Singers and five outstanding soloists for a feast of Baroque Masterpieces.

Bach’s exuberant Magnificat and Handel’s uplifting Dettingen Te Deum will fill the nave of Winchester Cathedral with the sound of baroque trumpets, timpani and exultant choruses. The choral works will be complemented by Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3, and Handel’s Organ Concerto ‘‘The cuckoo and the nightingale’, performed by George Castle.
