Join Flauguissimo for a musical journey featuring both well-known and hidden gems of the 18th century repertoire. In addition to works by Handel and Roman, this concert will feature rarely heard music by John Reid, whose immense contribution to the musical life in Edinburgh is celebrated in this Memorial Concert. A passionate flute-player as well as a General, Reid's galant compositions will here receive a rare performance using the delicate timbres of flute and theorbo.
