Mozart's Clarinet Quintet with Colin Lawson

New Year Concert
Joining Fiori Musicali for this unforgettable music is renowned classical clarinet specialist Colin Lawson – Mozart expert and until recently head of The Royal College of Music.

This is Mozart at his finest – and to contrast, we also include music by Mozart's favourite clarinettist, Anton Stadler, as well as a clarinet quartet by his pupil Johann Nepomuk Hummel.

Colin Lawson plays on a basset clarinet – the instrument these composers wrote for!
