Ensemble Molière

Hidden Gems

Hidden Gems
Ensemble Molière is bringing to light a sparkling kaleidoscope of Hidden Gems from the French Baroque.

If you love the music of Corelli, then Dandrieu’s suspenseful Italianate trio sonatas will tickle your fancy, and if you’ve enjoyed Telemann’s Paris Quartets, then Guilleman’s virtuosic quartet will be right up your street. The ensemble also explores a variety of different sound worlds, from a delicate duet of bassoon and viola da gamba by Corrette to stylish pièces de clavecin avec violon by Duphly. Unearth these musical gems to add to your playlist!

(1690–1760) Ouverture from Endymion (arr. Satoko Doi-Luck)
