The period instruments of Dunedin Consort lock horns with the full RSNO in a world premiere from Edinburgh-based composer Neil Tòmas Smith. Prior to that the Consort open with Handel’s enchanting Water Music, and the evening is completed with RSNO performing de Vlieger’s arrangement of Wagner's epic Ring Cycle.
