As well as surviving works of troubadours, you'll hear his own compositions using medieval texts, written in a style influenced and informed by a lifelong immersion in medieval sound. Within this concert of 12th- and 13th-century music, you'll hear surviving music and poems of women troubadours, surviving and lost music of Richard the Lionheart and more, with a fascinating performance set to transport listeners to a different time and place.
