London Festival of Baroque Music opens with majestic flair: JS Bach’s Orchestral Suites played in full by Concerto Copenhagen, one of the world’s leading Baroque ensembles.

The four works in the programme reveal Bach’s most charming and outgoing side, uniting splendour and elegant dances in a string of movements that include some of his most beloved music.

Concerto Copenhagen strips these works back to their original musical intention, with one string player per part. Formed of players from all over Europe, the players bring clarity and vitality to every note, letting Bach’s music shine in its most radiant form.
