For our 2nd concert at the atmospheric Beer Lab in Brixton we offer some beautiful Baroque Music by JS Bach and Buxtehude.

As smitten as Bach was with the music by his hero Buxthude, so are we with both their work. Join us if you feel the same! And if you need convincing, we are sure a jovial evening in the company of these two composers will do the trick.

With Rebecca Harris Violin, Jan Zahourek Viola da gamba, Oliver John Ruthven Harpsichord

The harmony of the Bee hive, the geometry of the honey-comb, and the vibrational dance is mirrored in the counterpoint and melodic invention of two composers whose cross- pollination led to the flowering of a style which defines German music of the High Baroque.
