Set within one of Essex's extraordinary Norman churches, this programme explores the soaring beauty of late-medieval Marian music through works drawn from the Eton Choirbook and Tudor England's rich sacred traditions. Performed by the acclaimed Bruegel Consort, the concert brings together intricate polyphony, plainsong, and devotional music of atmosphere and colour – with works by John Taverner, Robert Fayrfax, and composers from the Eton Choirbook.
