Handel's Messiah

The very first concert given by St George's Singers in December 1956 was the Christmas music from Handel's Messiah. So it is entirely fitting that they should commemorate this first concert with a performance of Handel's masterpiece in their anniversary season – this time the complete work at the Royal College of Music, accompanied by the instrumentalists of Baroque in the North and a stellar line-up of soloists.
