Twenty years after Fairhaven Singers last performed it, they are thrilled to be revisiting Bach’s overwhelming St Matthew Passion, arguably western music’s supreme masterpiece. They will sing it complete, in German (a full translation will be provided in the free programme), backed by the stellar Florilegium.
