A Boismoitier Chamber Concert
Baroque specialists Kate Bennett Wadsworth (cello) and Nathaniel Mander (harpsichord) promise to deliver a sparkling performance showcasing Boismortier's characterful and enticing compositions for cello and harpsichord as well as dazzling sonatas by Scarlatti.

Kate Bennett Wadsworth is a cellist and gambist devoted to historical performance of all periods, with a special research interest in 19th-century performance practice. She has appeared at festivals throughout Europe and North America with period instrument ensembles such as the Gabrieli Consort, B’Rock, Arion, Tafelmusik, Apollo’s Fire, Aradia, Masques, and the Theatre of Early Music, and her continuo playing can be heard on the Naxos, ATMA, Artemis/Vanguard and Deux-Elles labels. As a soloist, she has appeared with Arion Baroque Orchestra, Les Bostonades, Norwich Baroque, and Les Goûts Réunis Luxembourg.

Nathaniel Mander is an early keyboard performer known for his expressive, elegant and virtuosic style. He trained at the Royal Academy of Music with Carole Cerasi and is recognised as one of the leading keyboard artists of his generation. He has been particularly praised for his performances of the French repertoire and for the music of Mozart. His 2022 recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations received brilliant reviews across the board, and he was awarded the highest accolade by Dutch specialist classical music magazine, Luister.
He has performed across the world as both harpsichordist and fortepianist and alongside his poetic and passionate performances he always enjoys introducing the music that he plays in his own personal, light style.
