Temporal Harmonies Inc. is a dynamic ensemble featuring Lydia Walquist (traverso), Miki Piszczorowicz (viola da gamba) and Xiaowen Shang (keyboard instruments). Formed at the Royal Academy of Music, the trio shares a passion for shaping the narrative of contemporary music-making through historical performance. Their mission is to breathe new life into early music by spotlighting instruments that have faded from the mainstream, making them resonate with modern audiences. With a fresh, thoughtful approach, they seek to redefine the role of period instruments today—connecting centuries-old traditions with today’s sound world.
