La Girometta
Historical performance ensemble La Girometta brings a fresh sound to the string ensemble music of the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as rediscovering some lyrical and virtuosic music of the classical and early romantic periods.

With a versatile approach to programming and research, the group often switch instruments during recitals to bring in new sound colours amidst their combinations of bowed and plucked string instruments. Its members enjoy successful performance careers, having been winners at international competitions and playing in the UK's leading historical performance orchestras, as well as contributing to the music scene with their own festivals.
